If the propeller does not tilt in one direction, it is fine and can be used again. Check the motor for
excessive vibrations.
If the propeller does tilt in one direction, use some clear varnish spray on the opposite propeller
tip until the propeller stops tilting. The propeller is then ready to be used again.
5.2.3.4 Propeller replacement
Unscrew the two DIN 7984 bolts with a 2.5 mm Allen key to detach the propeller.
Check that the correct replacement propeller is used.
Secure the replacement propeller. Use the two DIN 7984 bolts with low-strength threadlocker
applied. Hand-tighten the DIN7984 bolts.
5.2.4 Motor maintenance
The brushless motors of the Zoe require very little maintenance. It is not recommended that you
disassemble any of the motors, as it may damage them. However, the motors are sensitive to dirt and
saltwater. Keep these environmental conditions in mind when performing the following procedures.
5.2.4.1 Motor check
Check the motor bolts on the bottom of the arms.
Check the motor regularly for any excessive corrosion. It is recommended that you perform this
check after every day of operation, or at least every 50 hours.
Perform a more thorough check after 160 hours of flight.
