Hovermap is installed onto Zoe via the integrated dovetail mount. It connects through the power and
data cables. To install Hovermap onto the Zoe, do the following:
Check that the lens is free from scratches and dust. Use the microfiber cloth bag to give the lens
a quick wipe before mounting it on the Zoe.
From the front of the Zoe, locate the male and female dovetail.
Slide Hovermap backward until you hear a click.
Give Hovermap a shake to ensure that the locking clips are engaged and that the Hovermap
cannot come free.
Connect the data cable to the correct port on the Hovermap.
Connect the power cable to the correct port on the Hovermap.
Remove the LiDAR cover and fit the colorization camera if required.
Step 4: Prepare the controller
Remove the controller from the box.
If using a tablet, mount it to the supplied adapter on the back of the tablet, and then secure it to
the controller mount. Check that the tablet and controller are connected using the supplied USB-
A to USB-C cable.
Install the batteries to the controller and/or the tablet, if required.
