Brake-mode: In this mode, Zoe stops immediately and continues hovering in position, holding
height.
Always remain vigilant and ready to take over control of the Zoe by switching to Loiter mode in the
following circumstances:
Warning sound (other than the “low battery” or “connection lost” audio).
Autonomy status indicator is orange or red.
If Zoe exhibits unsafe behavior (for example, drifting towards a wall).
You can change flight modes in flight using the appropriate switch on the controller. When switching
between modes, do the following:
Terminate any flight maneuver.
Hold Zoe in one position, keeping sufficient distance from any surrounding obstacles.
When switching to Loiter mode, check the telemetry monitor to see if the GPS signal is sufficient.
Ensure that the orientation LEDs are visible.
Use the appropriate switch to change the flight mode.
Verify the flight mode through the telemetry monitor.
Continue flight.
Step 4: Landing
The way you land will vary, depending on the autonomy mode you are using. Follow the process
outlined for your desired autonomy mode.
Mapping mode
Fly the Zoe to the home position, or to an area where it can be recovered manually.
Once at the landing site, do either of the following:

You can’t select Brake mode manually. Zoe will automatically go into Brake mode
if Hovermap becomes disconnected in flight, or if a geofence is breached.
