Printer Manager provides access to card design settings and additional troubleshooting tools.
Printer Manager also allows you to perform advanced troubleshooting with the guidance of your
service provider. Refer to the “Printer Manager” section in the printer’s Installation and
Administrator’s Guide for more information.
Problem Probable Cause Solution
The indent characters are
very light.
The indent ribbon is
loaded incorrectly or is
not being taken up on the
rollers.
Load the indent ribbon correctly. Refer to
“Load the Indent Ribbon Cartridge” on
page A-6 for more information. Contact your
system administrator if the problem
continues.
Problem Probable Cause Solution
The topping foil is very
light.
The topping foil is loaded
incorrectly.
Load the topping foil correctly.
Refer to “Load the Topping Foil Cartridge” on
page A-8 for more information.
The topper temperature
is not hot enough.
Contact your system administrator to adjust
the temperature of the topper mechanism.
