Messages from Printer Manager
Printer Manager issues messages that display in the browser window. Follow the instructions in
the message to continue working with the printer. Refer to “Printer Manager” in your printers
Installation and Administrators Guide.
Other Messages
 The card production application you use also may issue messages.
 Other printers can cause messages if more than one model of card printer is installed.
 The Card Printer Driver can issue a message if a print job is sent to the printer using the
driver. Refer to “Driver-Only Message” on page 89.
Respond to Messages
Messages display on the printer front panel LCD to identify various operational conditions and
errors of card production on the system. You can respond to messages using the printer front
panel buttons.
Important! Always discard damaged, rejected, or partially printed cards according to your
organization’s established procedures.
The following messages display on the printer LCD panel. Use the recovery instructions to
respond to the message.

The messages that display are determined by the printer model and the options
installed in the printer. The messages described in the following sections may not
display on all printers.
