Maintenance
This chapter provides information to help you maintain your printer for
optimal performance.
Maintain the Printer
The printer performs best when it is cleaned on a regular basis. Follow the cleaning guidelines for
your site to keep the printer in good working condition.
You can perform the following tasks to maintain the printer:
Clean the Printer on page 44
Clean the Printhead on page 49
Empty the Printer Reject Tray on page51
If your printer system includes an embosser, refer to “Empty the Embosser Reject Tray” on
page A-9.
