A useful application of the Format Selector is to change the order of channels used to
accommodate different standards (i.e., L,R,C,B,Sl,Sr instead of L,C,R,Sl,Sr,B). Any for-
mat can be re-ordered but the following example sets a 5.1-channel mix to an arbitrary
order:
Select a Main bus.1.
Select the 2. 5.1 format from the Format Selector.
Touch all channels except the rst channel in your new order in the Format Selec-3.

Touch the 4. Set Format button to set that channel to the selected bus.
Repeat steps 1–4 for each Main bus to reorder.5.
