Touching the View Log button opens a popup showing a Diagnostic Log.
The Diagnostic Log lists the time, date, and brief description of system errors.
The Diagnostic Log clears its data when the Max Air application closes.
NOTE: The Max Air System Computer can now create log les containing time-
stamped descriptions of events pertaining to the console’s software opera-
tions, including snapshot and layout recalls. These les are stored in the C:\
Emix\log folder. Each time the Max Air application is opened, a new log le
is created. The rst log le created is named “traceLog1.txt”. The succeed-
ing log le names are saved as “traceLogX.txt”, where “X” is an incremental
number coinciding with each opening of the Max Air application.
In a Max Air system with a backup DF66 SuperCore, turning the Auto Failover button
on will enable an automatic switchover to the backup DF66 if the diagnostics system
detects a fault in the primary DF66. Touching the Restore to Primary DSP button will
manually switch the primary DF66 back into operation.
