Next, we must create an Event to open the relay (turn the “On-Air” light off) when
none of the mic channels are tracked (see Figure 11-5):
Touch the 1. Events Main Menu button to display the Events View.
In the 2. Event List area, touch <Press to Add Event> and type something descrip-
tive in the keyboard popup.
In the 3. Inputs area, touch the <Press to Add Input> and select OnAir from the
Add Input Event popup.
Enter the following values:4.
Start Channel 1
End Channel 8
Activation Level -72
Activation State Mute
In the 5. Outputs area, touch the <Press to Add Output> eld and select GPO from
the Add Output Event Popup.
Enter the following values: 6.
Output Number 1
Active State open
Pulse Length 0
Machine GP132 One
At this point, while none of channel “1” thru 8 are tracked (all fader below -72 or 7.
OFF), GPI output 1 is latched open.
An output action can be added to simultaneously unmute a oor monitor attached 8.
to one of the console’s Monitor outputs. Create another Output and select Con-
trol Room. In the properties area, select values “Monitor A” and “On.”
