Grooving cycle
Type of machining to be carried out on each corner.
These data must be defined when grooving with incline walls. The type of machining must be defined
for all four corners of the groove.
For a rounded corner, define the rounding radius (R); for a chamfer, define the distance from the
theoretical corner to the chamfer point (C). For cut-off, it is possible to also define the chamfer angle.
Dwell at the bottom (t).
Defines the dwell, in seconds, after each penetration until the withdrawal begins. To define it, place
the cursor on this data, key in the desired value and press [ENTER].
Safety distance.
In order to prevent collisions with the part, the CNC allows a part approach point to be set. The safety
distance indicates the position of the approach point referred to the starting corner.
To change one of these values, place the cursor on the corresponding data, key in the desired value
and press [ENTER].
The value of the safety distance on X is always defined in radius.
To select the type of corner, place the cursor over this icon and press the two-color key.
