10 Troubleshooting
If any problem appears which cannot be solved with the help of this operating instruction,
contact our sales office and give a precise description of the problem. Specify the type,
the serial number and the firmware version of the transmitter.
Calibration
If installed as recommended in an appropriate location, used cautiously and serviced
conscientiously, no troubles should appear.
The transmitter has been calibrated at factory and, usually, a re-calibration of the trans-
mitter is not necessary. A re-calibration is recommended if:
• the contact surface of the transducers show visible wear or
• the transducers were used for a prolonged period at high temperatures (several months
> 130 °C for normal transducers or > 200 °C for high temperature transducers)
Risk of explosion when using the transmitter FLUXUS *608**-A2 in
explosive atmospheres
This may result in personal or material damage or other dangerous situa-
tions.

explosive atmospheres
This may result in personal or material damage or other dangerous situa-
tions.

Touching hot or cold surfaces
This may result in injuries (e.g., thermal damages).
→ Observe the ambient conditions at the measuring point during installa-
tion. Wear the required personal protective equipment. Observe the
applicable rules.
