When you start a scan, documents that are loaded in the ADF
paper chute (feeder) are fed into the ADF one by one.
Using the chute extensions will keep the documents straight
and feed them smoothly.
1 Pull out the chute extensions.

Make sure to hold the scanner while you pull out the chute
extensions.
