Cabling
Ê While pressing the release latch on the connector (1), disconnect the
defective power cable from the SATA POWER connector on the system
board (2).
Ê Connect the new power cable on the SATA POWER connector on the
system board (3).

Ê Disconnect SATA power cable connector P8 from the optical disk drive. See
figure 227 on page 329.
Ê Connect the new SATA power cable connector P8 to the optical disk drive.
