Call switching
When a call is transferred, the active subscriber and the subscriber for the connection previously put on
hold are always connected with one another.
Youcaninitiateaninquiriycallyourself(e.g.inordertoannouncethecall)andcanthentransferthecall.

Pleasenotethat the feature (ECT - Explicit Call Transfer) must be supported by the PABX sys

tem when transferring two (2)external calls, or, whenyou useyour phonedirectly on the net

work termination unit, by your network service provider.
Broker’s call
If you have more than one connection active at your telephone (call waiting or inquiriy call) (max. of four
connections),you can talk to thesepartiesalternately(Broker’scall). For this,thereare up to four softkeys
available, dependingon the number of connections on hold (»conn1«,. . . »conn4«). If the number or
thename of theother party is known,theassociated name ornumberis shownin thedisplayinsteadof the
text »Connection«.

IfyouhaveconfiguredextensionandlinekeysyoucanalsocarryoutBroker’scallsbetweendifferentcallers
using these keys.
To terminate an active connection, press the disconnect key. You are then returned to the call that was
previously put on hold.
You have the option of configuringup to four »Connection keys« in addition to the softkeys forthe system
telephone or the additional keypad.In connection withthe associated LEDs,this keys showthe communi

cation status (no connection, ongoing connection, call status).

Ifyou havean activeconnection anda connectionon holdat yoursystemtelephone,youcan initiatea con

ference call with these two subscribers. All three subscribers can speak to one another.
Conference calls are not possible with more than two (2) connections at your phone.
