Connection keys
Functionkeysatthesystemtelephoneorexpansioncanbeconfiguredinadditionto thesoftkeys »Call1.. «
for executing broker‘s calls. In this case, two to four of these keys must be configured.

Nootherkeysmaybeconfiguredbetweenconnectionkeys.
•
Thenumberofpossibleconnectionsdependsonthenumberofconnectionkeysthatareconfigured.
If fewer than four (4) keys areconfigured, the functions Call waiting and Inquiry call are only avail
-
ableinalimitedscope.
•
Ifseveralconnectionsare»Idle«,thecallsignaledfirst ispickedupwhenthehandset islifted.
•
If several connectionkeys are available, the corresponding connectionkey can be used to select the
call to be picked up when several calls are waiting. Note here however that only one ISDN system
telephoneshould beoperated attheISDN port, andthat onlysimplecall waitingisconfigured.Only
thenisitpossibletogivepreferencetoasecondwaitingcalloveranongoingcall(bothcallersrequire
oneBchanneleach).

Ifacallisnowsignaled,afurtherconnectioncanbesetupwithoutliftingthehandsetusingafurther
connectionkey.

Broker’scallscanbeexecutedusingtheconnectionkeys.
•
Allocationof aconnection,orof acall, isretained untilthecallorconnectionisended, incontrast to
thesoftkeys»Connection1..«.
• Aconnectioncanbesetupusingaconnectionkeyand thenpressingalinekey.
• Duringanongoingcallitis possibletoset upafurtherconnectionbypressingtheconnectionkey.
• Pressing the terminatingkey discontinues the current connection and the connection with the last
callthatwasonhold.
• Ifyouwishto connectan ongoingcall with onethat is onhold you mustclick the softkey»Transfer«
andthenpress theconnectionkey forthecallthatis onhold.
»System-parked inquiry« button
Thecalledsubscriberusesthesystem-parkedinquiriycallfeaturetodialthedefaultnumericcode.Thetele-
phoneisnowavailableforotheruses,forexampleanannouncementormessage. Adifferentsubscribercan
accept the call when he/she lifts the handset and dials the corresponding number for the call on hold. The
code numbersgivenby the PABX system can alsobe entered in the function keys for one or several system
telephones.If acall isplacedintheParked inquiryqueue bypressing afunctionkey,thisis indicatedby the
LEDs of the function keys flashing at the system telephones configured for this feature. The call can be
pickedupby pressingthe correspondingfunctionkey. Thisperformancefeature ispossiblewhenonlyone
call is on hold.
Team keys
Ateamkeyisa normallinekey towhichtheinternalnumberfor ateam isassigned. Whenthecorrespond
-
ing key is pressed hands-free calling is activated and the listed team called.
If a call for the listed team is signaled you can accept the call by pressing the team key.
Team log-on/off
If you are entered as a subscriber inthecallswitchingmodes of one or more teams you can configure a key
so as to control the call signaling of your telephone. When you are logged in, team calls will be signaled at
your telephone. No team calls are signaled at your phone if you are not logged in.
