5.5.2 Checking the door seal and chamber seal 3.2
The inspection is done to check the seal on the door (the seal at
the bottom edge of the door) and the chamber seal (the seal that
runs along the front edge of the chamber). Failure to perform this
inspection can result in unwanted leakage of water and steam.
Check to make sure both seals are intact and have not become
loose from their tracks. When necessary, clean or replace the
seals. For further instructions see 5.10.1 Function and leakage
check 8.1 .
5.5.3 Checking the door lock and switch for proper functioning 3.3
This check is carried out to ensure that the door can be easily
closed and remains locked during process.
1. Check that the door can be closed easily
2. Check that the door cannot be opened without pressing the
door opening button or pulling the emergency opening cord.
3. Check that the door can be opened both with the door
opening button or pulling the emergency opening cord.
5.5.4 Checking the door wire 3.4
1. Check that the door wire is whole, change the wire if it is
worn.
2. Check that the sprint is stuck and is intact.
5.6 Connections (Item 4)
WARNING!
All supply lines must be closed when working on
the pipe system.
5.6.1 Checking water and drain connections 4.1
Check that the water and waste connections are not leaking and
that they are installed according to the Installation manual. It is
particularly important that the waste hoses are installed at the
correct height for the machine to work satisfactorily.
