5.10 Test run (Item 8) (at each service)
5.10.1 Function and leakage check 8.1
To check the components function and for any leakage, a process
is run. Open the lower front panel and then perform the following
checks:
• Check that the machine fills with water as intended.
• Make sure that the spray arms can spin freely.
• Check that there are no water drops leaking from the
chamber during the process. Replace the seal, if needed.
• Shine a light underneath the chamber using a torch. Tighten
the hose clamps if there are any leaks.
• Check the circulation pump so that no abnormal sounds are
present during operation. Check that the circulation pump
connections do not leak and no water is leaking from the
pump house.
• Check that there are no noises coming from the fan during
the drying process.
• Check that the items are dry after a completed washing cycle.
5.10.2
Checking the panel 8.2
The machine is operated with the buttons on the operator panel.
• Check that the control buttons are working.
• While a program is running check that the yellow lamp is lit.
When the program is complete, the green lamp should light
up.
• Check that the panel's lamps and alarms are functioning.
