P0686: ECM/PCM Power Relay Control Circuit high
INFORMATION
1. Technical description
• The main relay (EDU relay) supplies power from the battery to the ECU.
<Description of malfunction>
• The main relay cannot be turned OFF.
2. DTC set condition
(1) DTC detection condition
• Battery voltage is in the range of 10 V to 16 V.
(2) Judgement criteria
• With the main relay in OFF position, 8 V or higher power supply voltage remains for 60 seconds.
3. Reset condition
• After restoration to normal condition.
4. Indication, warning or system control regulation when the DTC is set.
• MIL: OFF
• SVS light: ON
