8.3 Trigger Mode

Flashing cursor
SING
(single)
Trigger is registered only once. After START button
was pressed, product starts waveform recording when
triggering occurs and continues for preset recording
length. Measurement then ends automatically.
REP
(repeat)
Trigger is registered continuously. Product is in
trigger standby condition when trigger conditions are
not met. Measurement ends when STOP button is
pressed.
AUTO
(MEM)
Trigger is registered continuously. If trigger
conditions are not met within 1 second, waveform
recording starts automatically and continues for
preset recording length. Measurement ends when
STOP button is pressed (memory recorder function
only).
8.3 Trigger Mode
The trigger mode determines the way triggering is used to
control operation of the product. When all trigger sources
are set to OFF, a recording operation begins immediately
(free-run operation).
Procedure
Trigger Screen
1. Press the
SET
button to display the Trigger Screen.
2. Move the flashing cursor to
Trig Mode
and
use the the
buttons to make a setting.
