X activate/deactivate the IGMP Snooping protocol.
IGMP Querier and IGMP Settings
With these frames you can enter global settings for the IGMP settings and
the IGMP Querier function.
Prerequisite: The IGMP Snooping function is activated globally.
Parameter Meaning Value range Default setting
Function Activate/deactivate IGMP Snooping
globally for the device.
If IGMP Snooping is switched off:
X the device does not evaluate
Query and Report packets
received, and
X it sends (floods) received data
packets with a Multicast address
as the destination address to all
ports.
