General Information
1.2 To prevent Possible Injury or Equipment Damage
Never use a corrosive solvent or abrasive detergents or polishes. Select a cleaning agent
which will not damage plastics, aluminum, or carbon fiber.
• Do not use a strong detergent, abrasive cleaner, high alcohol concentration, or methanol
at any concentration. If skin preparation contains a high alcohol concentration, allow
time to dry before compression.
• Do not expose equipment parts to any steam or temperature sterilization.
• Never allow any liquids to enter the internal parts of the equipment. Do not apply
cleaning sprays or liquids to the equipment. Always use a clean cloth and apply the
spray or liquid. If liquid enters the system, disconnect the electrical supply and schedule
inspection by service personnel before the system is returned to use.
Caution: Wrong cleaning methods can damage the equipment, decrease
imaging performance, or increase the risk of electric shock.
• Always follow the instructions from the germicide manufacturer. The instructions
include the methods of concentration, storage, application, contact time, wash
requirements, protective clothing, shelf life, and for removal. The instructions make sure
best and safe product use.
