Load the Carousel into the Processor
The carousel must be empty of any slides, lters,
vials, and debris before a batch in AutoLoader
mode will begin.
Place...
the empty carousel at, and slide it under the
U-shaped collar, all the way to the rear wall.
Know...
that the carousel is properly in place when it:
- stops against the rear wall,
- sits at and
- cannot be lifted up.
Load Alcohol Fixative Baths into the Instrument
Place...
the empty staining rack into empty xative bath
receptacle.
On the rack, the words “UP SIDE” face the
handle of the bath.
Push...
the rack down
past the point of slight resistance.
Feel the rack snap into place.
The rack must be fully seated.
Fill...
the bath with alcohol to the top of the staining
rack.
Load Filter Trays into the Instrument
Tip:
A partially used lter tray can be loaded.

If a row is partly full, the empty area goes on the left, with empty rows in the
back.
