Honeywell 30 Series IP Cameras User Guide
The RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) is used to deliver video data to the clients. By
default, the RTP port for video is set to 5556.
The RTCP (Real-time Transport Control Protocol) allows the camera to transmit the
data by monitoring the Internet traffic volume. By default, the RTCP port for video is
set to 5557.
The ports can be changed to values between 1025 and 65535. The RTP port must be an
even number and the RTCP port is the RTP port number plus one, and thus is always an
odd number. When the RTP port changes, the RTCP port will change accordingly.
RTP port for metadata: By default, the RTP port for metadata is set to 6556.
RTCP port for metadata: By default, the RTCP port for video is set to 6557.

Always multicast: Check to enable multicast for video streams.
Multicast group address: Enter the Multicast group address.
Multicast video port/Multicast RTCP video port: The ports can be changed to values
between 1025 and 65535. The multicast video port must be an even number and the
multicast RTCP video port number is the multicast video port number plus one, and
thus is always odd. When the multicast video port changes, the multicast RTCP video
port will change accordingly.
Multicast metadata port/Multicast RTCP metadata port: The ports can be changed to
values between 1025 and 65535. The multicast metadata port must be an even number
and the multicast RTCP metadata port number is the multicast metadata port number
plus one, and thus is always odd. When the multicast metadata port changes, the
multicast RTCP metadata port will change accordingly.
Multicast TTL [1~255]: The multicast TTL (Time to Live) is the value that defines the
router the range a packet can be forwarded. The default value is 15.
