8. Tilt the end of the tool down (callout 1) and then pull straight out of the printer (callout 2) to remove the
separation roller.
IMPORTANT: Use a damp, lint-free cloth to gently clean the rollers.
NOTE: When handling rollers or pads, avoid touching the spongy surfaces. Skin oils and ngerprints on
a roller surface can cause print-quality problems.
Reinstallation tip: Leave the roller tool attached to the roller assembly. The tool is necessary to
reinstall the separation roller.
