The iSeries servers support a wide range of physical interfaces including:

• Integrated PC Server LAN
• Asynchronous support
• Synchronous support
• ATM (LAN emulation)
The base protocols are implemented within OS/400 and OS/400 microcode for excellent
performance, security, and stability.
