Planning Information
The IBM Open Class Library that is shipped as part of Websphere Development Studio for
iSeries (5722-WDS) and Operating System/400 for iSeries (5722-SS1) will be provided for
one additional release beyond V5R1, after which it will be discontinued. The I/O Stream and
Complex Library will continue to be shipped and supported as part of Operating System/400.
