40 IBM z13s Technical Guide
z13s servers can have up to two CPC drawers installed (the minimum is one CPC drawer).
The contents of the CPC drawer and its components are model dependent. The Model N10
CPC drawer that is shown in Figure 2-4 has a single node, half the structure of the Model N20
CPC drawer that has two nodes.

Single node drawer contains (Figure 2-4):
– Two PU chips up to 13 active cores.
– One SC chip (480 MB L4 cache).
– Four PCIe fanout slots.
– Two InfiniBand fanout slots.
– One memory controller per PU chip.
– Five DDR3 DIMM slots per memory controller.
– Two Flexible Support Processors (FSPs).
– Node 1 resources (SCMs, memory, and fanouts) are not installed in the Model N10.
Two node drawer contains (Figure 2-5 on page 41):
– Four PU chips, up to 26 active PUs
– Two SC chips (960 MB L4 cache)
– Eight PCIe fanout slots
– Four InfiniBand fanout slots
– One memory controller per PU chip
