Compatibility
... to current versions (FL1C devices):
Data written to the memory cartridge (card) in a FL1C ver-
sion can be read in all other FL1C versions.
... to earlier versions (FL1B device):
A memory cartridge (card) that contains data written in earli-
er versions (FL1B device) can not be used in IDEC Smart-
Relay devices of the FL1C generation. When the IDEC
SmartRelay system detects such an 'old' memory cartridge
(card), the message “Unknown Card / Press ESC” is output
to the display.
Vice versa, an FL1C memory cartridge (card) can not be
used in IDEC SmartRelay devices of the FL1B family.
Upward compatibility of circuit programs
Circuit programs written for the previous versions FL1B can
only be applied in FL1C units by means of WindLGC.
