no. 5 Long feeding safety
During every feeding stage, it checks that
the bar does not go further than the
value set in parameter 6 added to the
value set in parameter 5. Should this not
occur for any reason, the bar feeder goes
into "ALARM".
If parameter 6 is set to 0, this parameter
is not active.

0 - (Not enabled for first piece); the parameter is active for all feeding operations except for
the first piece.
1 - (Enabled for first piece): the parameter is active for every feeding operation (the facing
phase excepted).
INFORMATION
In the sliding headstock lathe, you can use this parameter to check for any tool
breakages; enter a value of a few millimetres (maximum 5 mm).
INFORMATION:
Setting the subparameter to 1 (Enabled for first piece), the "short piece"
(parameter 4) checks are activated straight after the first piece.
