Profile List
Displays information of predefined service profiles.
When you set up a service user group, you select the profiles to use. Select one
primary profile and one secondary (optional) profile for the service user group.
• Edit( ) button: To edit the profile, click the Edit( ) button. Then the pop-up
window is opened. Enter the details, then click the Update button.
- Name: Displays the name of profile.
- Traffic Class: Select a traffic class from the drop-down list.
NOTE: Choose the right traffic class for your network service for the best
performance. Recommended to choose Background for TCP/IP service and
Streaming IP for UDP traffic such as live video or audio.
∙ Subscribed: This function is not available.
∙ Conversational: This function is not available.
∙ Streaming: Real-time 2 way communication. It is primarily used for video and
audio.
∙ Interactive: This function is not available.
∙ Background: Used for data which is not delay-sensitive, such as Email SMS,
download of databases, and reception of measurement records.
- Max Bitrate Downlink: Select the maximum download bit rate allowed for this
profile from the drop-down list.
- Max Bitrate Uplink: Select the maximum upload bit rate allowed for this profile
from the drop-down list.
- Guranteed Bitrate Downlink: Select the guaranteed download bit rate needed
for this profile from the drop-down list.
- Guranteed Bitrate Uplink: Select the guaranteed upload bit rate needed for
this profile from the drop-down list.
- Data Limit: Set the Daily and Monthly limit.
∙ In background: Enter a value between 1~102400 MBytes (MB: Enter a
number, 0: unlimited).
∙ In streaming: Enter a value between 1~1440 minutes for daily limit or
1~44640 minutes for monthly limit (Minute: Enter a number, 0: unlimited).
For further information on the principles and parameters of the traffic flow filters,
refer to the 3GPP standards TS 23.060.
- Use USIM Default APN: Recommended. Choose whether to use the default
APN (Access Point Name) value of USIM or not (Enabled/Disable). The APN is
defined on the USIM card.
- Use Defined APN: When you want to use a user-defined APN value, enter the
APN value. APNs are provided by service providers.
