5 SCPI Command Reference
:SYSTem:RESet[:ALL]
Syntax :SYSTem:RESet[:ALL] [HARD | SOFT]
Input
Parameters
[HARD | SOFT]
Description This command resets the instrument.
If SOFT is passed the instrument will load its default values and defined
'Groups' in the GUI will be untouched.
If HARD is passed the instrument will load the factory setting and all
'Group' definitions will be cleared.
Independent of passing HARD or SOFT all plug-ins (measurements) are
closed.
Example :SYSTem:RESet:ALL SOFT
