3.1.2 Housing Mounting Options
Note: All dimensions are given in millimeters [inches].
Knockouts in the rear unit enable different mounting options:
• Pipe mounting ➜ Pipe Mounting ZU0274, p. 23
• Panel mounting ➜ Panel-Mount Kit ZU0738, p. 25
• Protective hood ➜ Protective Hood for Wall and Pipe Mounting ZU0737, p. 24
Cable glands for connecting sensors:
• 3 knockouts for M20x1.5 cable glands

• 2 knockouts for NPT 1/2″ or rigid metallic conduit
Installing Multiple Devices
Note: Install the hinge pin to prevent tensile strain on the measuring cables when replacing the front
unit. Imprecise measuring values may result if this is not done.
There is a 100 mm hinge pin in the bag containing small accessory parts included in the package con-
tents ➜
Package Contents and Product Identification, p. 17. The hinge pin connects the front and rear
units. For installation of multiple Stratos Multi
devices, a minimum clearance of 110mm [4.331inches]
must be maintained to ensure that the middle front units can still be replaced.
