ItisimportanttoensurecontinuousoperationoftheEK80independentofvarying
qualityofthevessel'smainssupply.Theuseofanuninterruptiblepowersupplyis
thereforerecommended.
Uninterruptiblepowersupplyunitsarenot
includedinthestandardEK80delivery.
Theseitemsmustbepurchasedlocally.
Severalcommercialtypesareavailable.Tochoosethebestpowersolutionforyour
EK80installation,considerenvironmentalconditions,spaceavailable,theavailability
anddurationofthebatteries,andthepowerrequirementsoftheEK80.
Note
MakesurethattheUninterruptiblePowerSupply(UPS)doesnotgenerateswitching
noiseinthesamefrequencybandastheEK80.
Theminimumrequirementsfortheuninterruptiblepowersupply(UPS)are:
•Inputvoltage:Theinputvoltagemusttvesselsupplyvoltage.
•Outputvoltage:230V AC,50Hz
•Outputpower:TheoutputpowermustexceedtherequirementsoftheEK80.
