Remove PCIe riser 2 installed with serial port
Procedure
Step 1. Prepare your server.
a. Remove the top cover. See “Remove the top cover” on page 225.
b. Disconnect cables that are connected to the PCIe riser and the PCIe adapter.
Step 2. Remove the PCIe riser.
a.
Unfasten the thumbscrew on the PCIe riser.
b.
Slightly lift up the PCIe riser, and disconnect the serial port cable from the system board.
c.
Lift the PCIe riser out of the chassis.
