Procedure
Step 1. Make sure the SXM GPU board is installed in the GPU tray.
Attention: If there is any old thermal grease on the four GPUs, gently clean the top of the four
GPUs with an alcohol cleaning pad.
Step 2. Hold the radiator by its upper edge and hold the cold plate assembly by its lifting handle to remove
the L2A out of the shipping box.
Attention: To avoid damaging the thermal grease on the cold plate assembly, make sure the
plastic tray is secured to the cold plate assembly with masking tapes when removing the L2A out of
the shipping box.
Step 3. Remove the masking tapes from the plastic tray and the cold plate assembly, and remove the
protective cardboard packing from the radiator.
Step 4. Hold the radiator by its upper edge and hold the cold plate assembly by its lifting handle to lift up
the L2A.
