Destruction of the digital outputs (X5/A1 X5/A4).
The digital outputs are not protected against external voltage.
Possible consequences:
ƒ Applying an external voltage to X5/A1 X5/A4 can damage the digital
outputs. The control card does not work correctly any longer.
Protective measures:
ƒ Never apply an external voltage to the terminals X5/A1 X5/A4.
After completing the installation, the following must be checked:
ƒ Wiring for completeness, short−circuit, and earth fault
ƒ In−phase connection of the mains cable
ƒ In−phase connection of the motor cable (direction of rotation)
ƒ If necessary, direction of rotation of the incremental encoder
Note!
The installation check is followed by commissioning. Further information can
be obtained from the System Manual for the drive controller.
ƒ Read the System Manual carefully before you switch on the controller!
ƒ Carry out the commissioning steps in accordance with the System Manual!
ƒ If you use the "safe standstill" function, check the function of the circuit!
