If you notice or are troubled by any of the symptoms below, check the issue again
referring to the likely cause and solution.
If the symptom is not resolved by the solution, have the vehicle inspected by any
authorized Lexus retailer or Lexus authorized repairer, or any reliable repairer.

The screen is
difficult to see
● The vehicle is in a dark area
or it is night.
● The temperature around
the lens is either high or low.
● The outside temperature is
low.
● There are water droplets on
the camera.
● It is raining or humid.
● Foreign matter (mud etc.) is
stuck to the camera.
● Sunlight or headlights are
shining directly into the
camera.
● The vehicle is under fluores-
cent lights, sodium lights,
mercury lights, etc.
Visually check your vehicle’s surround-
ings while you are driving. (Use the
Lexus parking assist monitor again
once the camera and conditions have
improved.)
The procedure for adjusting the pic-
ture quality of the Lexus parking assist
monitor is the same as the procedure
for adjusting the multimedia screen.
The image is
blurry
Dirt or foreign matter, such as
water droplets, snow, or mud,
has stuck to the camera lens.
Splash the camera with a large amount
of water and then wipe the camera
lens clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Operate the dedicated camera clean-
ing washer and clean the camera
lens. For details, refer to "OWNER’S
MANUAL".

misaligned
The camera has received a
strong impact.
Have the vehicle inspected by any
