• You can verify this by looking at the LCD screen. You should now
see three temperature readings.
You can revert the rmware back to the stock conguration for your
LulzBot
®
3D printer by selecting Machine > Machine Settings > Change
Tool Head. Doing so will overwrite any of your current rmware settings.
Calibrating Extruders
Each individual extruder will have its own unique set of Esteps. To
determine this, you will need to tell the extruder to take in 100mm of
lament.
• Load the outer and inner calibrations squares into Cura
https://www.lulzbot.com/support/downloads
• Open the Printer Interface window and set temperatures for both
heads. Switch between hot ends by entering “T0” for the rear extruder
into the command line terminal. Press enter.
• Type “T1” for the front extruder into the command line terminal.
Press enter.
• Make two marks at 100mm and 120mm on the lament from the top
surface of each extruder.
• Once at the correct extrusion temperature type into the command
line “G92” and press enter. Then “G1 E100 F60” and press enter.
• Switch to the other tool head by entering “T0” for the rear or “T1”
for the front.
• Type into the command line “G92” and press enter.
• Type “G1 E100 F60” and press enter.
• Measure the distance that the tool head over or under extruded. You
will need to adjust your Esteps by 8 up or down for each mm it under
or over extruded.
