Serial interface
To control the inverter module via the serial interface (terminal X4) the
L
USTBUS PROTOCOL is used. By way of the LUSTBUS PROTOCOL the DRIVE-
M
ANAGER accesses the module. Control of the inverter can be seized by
way of the serial interface.
The control location is set to SIO as soon as the D
RIVEMANAGER
FUNCTION
“Control device” is selected.
At the end of the control window the old setting is restored before the con-
trol function is taken over by the D
RIVEMANAGER.
Note: If communication between the inverter module and the
D
RIVEMANAGER is interrupted, the setting can no longer be
reset by the DRIVEMANAGER.
Parameters for setup and data exchange of the serial interface are

USTBUS” (section 5.4.1).

Option slots 1 and 2
Activation of the inverter module by way of communication modules can
be handled via the DRIVECOM state machine or the LUST-specific proto-
col.
The control location is set to OPTx.
The option slots are described in section 2.2 “Module mounting”.Pay
attention to the special notes set out there.
