The window is shown over the trafc screen and provides the following
data and functionality:
• Flight ID of the selected aircraft.
• Emitter Category or “type” of aircraft.
• An aircraft Icon is located on the right side of the window showing
a representation of the aircraft being tracked. If there is no aircraft
icon available then:
• Release 2.0 or earlier: A “?” is shown.
• Release 2.1 or greater: A text indication of the source of the
trafc is shown (TIS-B, TAS, ADS-R, or ADS-B).
• Calculated ground speed of the selected aircraft.
• A Display GS Latch button is used to activate the selected Trafc
GS on the trafc screen.
• Tap the Done button to close the window. The window is also
removed from the screen if a Trafc Advisory or TAWS Alert is
detected.

Selected Traffic ID
The Selected Trafc ID is located along the right side of the trafc
screens after a trafc symbol is pressed. The Trafc ID is removed
when the selected trafc symbol is tapped, a Trafc Advisory (TA)
occurs, or if the selected trafc is no longer being tracked. The Trafc
ID is restored to the screen if the Trafc Advisory is no longer present
and if no other user action (i.e., selecting a different trafc symbol,
tapping a button, or changing the zoom range) has occurred since the
Trafc Advisory occurred. See Figure 2-8.
