5.12 Checking Optional Skid Shoes / Gauge Rollers
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from the unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, shut down the engine, remove
the key, and engage the safety props before going under the machine.
DANGER
Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.
1. Raise the header fully.
2. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Engage the header safety props. For instructions, refer to the windrower operator’s manual.
