3.20 Repositioning Knife Drive Box Breathers
There is one knife drive box at each end of the auger header. The knife drive boxes sit at different angles when in shipping
and field positions. When the position is changed, the breathers need to be moved to make sure oil does NOT leak from
the knife drive boxes.

1. Move breathers/dipsticks (A) to back port and install
plug (B) in forward port of knife drive boxes.

2. With the top of the knife drive box horizontal, check the oil
level. It should be between lower hole (A) and the end of
the dipstick.
3. If required, add SAE 85W-140 lubricant.
