5.11 Checking Oil Level in Conditioner Gearbox
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.
DANGER
Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.
1. Lower the header fully.
2. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
3. Ensure that the gearbox is level with ground.

4. Remove check plug (A) and ensure that oil runs out. If oil
does not run, fill the conditioner gearbox using
SAE 85W-140.
5. Replace check plug (A).
PERFORMING PREDELIVERY CHECKS
