Display on panel
The pointer must remain stable at the moment the contact drops into the
interrupted section. The POWER LED turns BLUE if the memory is blocked
via the I/O.
7.2.6.3 Continuous sampling memory
The memory filters the measurement signal, automatically blocking measurement processing whenever it is
subject to very fast variations (for example, when the probes drop into a groove on the part). The
measurement is processed only if -25µm/-0.0001, otherwise it remains blocked The processing can also
be blocked with a command from the machine I/O given with the MEMORY CONTROL pin.
Settings
It is possible to select the measurement signal sampling rate. Select the
sampling rate so that the measurement re
mains stable when the part is
rotating at the working speed.
Carry out the same check when the memory is blocked from the I/O input.
Operating mode
MANUAL
The memory is not active. Only the measurement block
from I/O functions.
AUTOMATIC
The memory is active.
Disable
The P3UP must be in manual mode in order to disable the memory.
I/O input
MEMORY CONTROL
The lock measurement signal is always available from the I/O
ON: the memory freezes the acquired measurement value
OFF: The memory is active and the measurement is updated
Display on panel
The pointer must remain stable and the POWER LED must turn BLUE at the
moment the probe drops into the interrupted section. The POWER LED
turns BLUE when the measurement is blocked by the I/O input.
7.2.6.4 Continuous sampling memory (blocked by I/O only)
The memory only blocks the measurement via the input signal from the I/O.
Settings
None.
Operating mode
MANUAL
The block from I/O is always active.
AUTOMATIC
The block from I/O is always active.
Disable
Cannot be disabled.
I/O input
MEMORY CONTROL
The lock measurement signal is always available from the I/O
ON: the memory freezes the acquired measurement value.
OFF: the measurement is active and the measurement is updated

The POWER LED turns BLUE when the measurement is blocked via the I/O.
