7.2.6.5 Memory for planes (with internal synchronisation)
The memory is used for P3UP when installed on surface grinding machines in order to control the part
surface or its distance from a reference plane. The P3UP processes the measurement at regular intervals as
set-up during the programming phase.
Settings
Set-up the MEM T measurement acquisition time. Select the measurement time
in order to obtain a stable measurement at the working speed. The
measurement will be updated at the frequency corresponding to the MEM T
time setting.
Operating mode
MANUAL
The memory is active (dynamic mode) if the DYN LED is
on.
AUTOMATIC The memory is always active. It is also possible to disable
the memory in automatic mode, if requested.
Disable
It is possible to disable the memory with P3UP in manual mode setting the DYN
LED to the OFF state (para.

I/O input
MEMORY CONTROL
The lock measurement signal is also available on the I/O
ON: the memory freezes the acquired measurement value
OFF:
The memory is active and the measurement is updated at the
programmed frequency
Display on panel
The POWER LED is normally BLUE if dynamic mode is selected, otherwise it is
GREEN. In dynamic mode, when the measurement is updated, the LED turns
GREEN momentarily.
7.2.6.6 Memory for planes (with I/O synchronisation)
The memory is used for the gauge when installed on surface grinding machines in order to control the part
surface or its distance from a reference plane. The measurement is processed during the interval between
two I/O input ON->OFF transitions.
Settings

Operating mode
MANUAL The memory is active (dynamic mode) if the DYN LED is
on.
AUTOMATIC
The memory is active. It is also possible to disable the
memory in automatic mode, if requested.
