6.2 Connecting the measurement heads
The unit can be connected to Marposs In-Process heads with one or two transducers.
The following connections are available, depending on the requirements of the application.

The connectors W2 and/or W3 may NOT be present, depending on the individual application.

In the case of the In Process version with Air Gap transducers (and hence no LVDT) and when
connectors W1 and W2 are both present, it is possible to use a dual transducer measurement
head connected to W1 only, provided the free connector W2 is fitted with a metal plug (code no.
4140400032 - available from your Marposs dealer upon request).
To fit the metal plug, proceed as follows:
1. Undo the indicated screw (A)
2. Insert the screw through the ring at the end of the retaining chain attached to the metal
plug, and re-tighten it.
3. Fit the metal plug on W2.
