6.1
Securing the unit to the machine tool
In the case of the P3UP version with case, secure the gauge to the machine tool using the four internally
threaded feet (M4 thread).

In the case of the P3UP panel mounted version, use the M3 threaded pins positioned on the rear of the

fixing mask, dimensions in mm for the dimensions of the housing cut-out on the machine. It is important to
ensure that upper and lower grilles are not obstructed (even partially) and that no objects (panels, walls,
other equipment, etc.) are positioned within 12 mm of them. In any event, the ambient temperature must not
exceed 40°C under normal operating conditions, even in the areas around the grilles.

N.B.
The maximum rear dimension varies according to the measurement head, the power supply and
the machine I/O: in the worst case this dimension may reach 170 mm.
