Pintle Hitch - Inspect
Inspect pintle hitch for cracks, damage, or wear. If wear exceeds 3/16"
(5 mm) from the original surface profile, replace pintle ring (1). Check
mounting bolts for signs of loosening or damage. Torque 3/4-10 x 2-1/2" Grade
5 bolts to 200 ft-lb (271 Nm). Contact your Vermeer dealer for approved parts.
Tank Full Shutdown Switch - Check
Ensure Tank Full Shutdown Switch shuts off the engine when spoil tank is full. If switch does not function
properly, contact a Vermeer dealer.
Vacuum and Water Hoses - Check
Check condition of the vacuum hoses and high pressure water hoses.
Replace sections of vacuum and water hoses as necessary.
