Section 15: Intended Use
The McLaughlin VX30/VX50 Gen3 and ECO50 Vacuum Excavators are designed solely for use in removing
earth, mud, and soil materials in excavation, using suction. These systems use pressurized water to break up
materials to be vacuumed.
The optional boom is designed solely
for assisting in the removal of earth, mud, and soil materials from
excavation operations. Never use boom to lift loads of any kind as this could damage components or result in
personal injury.
Always use the machines in ac
cordance with the instructions contained in this Operator's and Maintenance
Manual, safety signs on the machine, and other material provided by Vermeer Corporation.
Correct maintenance and repair are
essential for safety and for efficient operation of the machine. Do not use
the machine if it is not in suitable operating condition.
