ATTACH TO TOWING VEHICLE
NOTICE: It is recommended that towing vehicle be equipped with mud flaps.
Hitch Height - Adjust
Before attaching the machine to the towing vehicle, compare height of towing vehicle
hitch to the trailer hitch. Hitch heights need to be approximately the same to keep the
machine level during transport.
To adjust the hitch:
Step 1: Remove hi
tch bolts (1).
Step 2: Rais
e or lower trailer hitch to match towing vehicle height.
Step 3: Ins
tall hitch bolts and tighten. Torque 3/4-10 x 2-1/2" Grade 5 bolts with lock
washers, flat washers, and nuts to 200 ft-lb (271 Nm).
WARNING: Safety towing chains may uncouple from towing vehicle if chain hook latches are
damaged or missing. Do not tow vehicle with damaged or missing hook latches.
